Jeffrey C. Brown is an intellectual property attorney. In addition to his law degree, he earned his B.S. in Microbiology and his M.B.A. in Business Management.

Jeff is a registered Patent Attorney and focuses on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, including procuring intellectual property rights and resolving those rights in litigation. He has also developed substantial expertise and regularly counsels clients on IP licensing and ownership issues, and Internet law, including online defamation.

Jeff also serves as a Conciliation Court Judge in Hennepin County and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.  Former Adjunct Professor of Law at William Mitchell College of Law. Jeff has professional experience outside of law in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries where he worked for twelve years. Jeff brings his understanding of these industries and business in general to the table when counseling his clients on both IP and general commercial matters. In 2003, Jeff was named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.
